Planting Seeds!

admin on: Reception Blog

Today we planted our own pot of seeds!

We are so excited to see what will happen when it grows.

We even talked about what we think the seeds will turn into...

"I think it will grow into a sunflower"

"I think it will grow into a flower"

Suzi

admin on: Reception Blog

Today we had a lovely visit by Suzi from the library. She read us three fantastic stories about bears and we joined in with some actions. We all sang some rhymes about the finger puppets in her bag. Suzi brought us all a book called "Bumblebear" which we could take home and keep! We hope you like it!

Reading

admin on: Reception Blog

We are looking forward to getting back to work with our reading, writing and maths!

This half term we are aiming to read with children daily, giving us a chance to change books 3 times a week.

That gives children the opportunity to enjoy more books, how exciting!

Please try to read with your child every night and write in the reading record.

This could just be the date and a "well done!"
